“Fear-memory and individual differences in fear related processes”

“This project has two main aims: we want to gain insight into the brain mechanisms underlying 1) the acquisition and extinction of fear memory and 2) fear related individual differences in humans. We use psychological tasks, functional magnetic resonance imaging and neurophysiological measures ( pupil dilation and fear potentiated startle reflex) to study these processes in healthy volunteers.”
