“NEUROLOGICAL, VISUAL AND NEUROCOGNITIVE PERFORMANCE IN PEDIATRIC HIV-1- INFECTED PATIENTS AS COMPARED TO HEALTHY CONTROLS.”

Neurocognitive impairment is a common problem in HIV-positive children stable on antiretroviral therapy. Our study aims to gain insight in its pathogenesis, by evaluating multimodal MRI studies in HIV-positive children versus healthy controls, and correlating alterations with neurocognitive, immunological and pharmacological states.
