Misophonia:an imaging study on the neurobiology and the efficacy of cognitive behavioural therapy
Misophonia is a currently underrecognized and investigated condition in which specific, usually human, sounds trigger impulsive aggressiveness. The goal of this study is to objectify brain function differences 1. between patients and controls and 2. in patients pre- and post treatment. And 3. to determine (epi)genetic factors involved in misophonia and its treatment.
